Gatefold cover with lyrics and artwork.
Copies can have a Parental Advisory sticker on the cover.

All Ipecac Recordings copies on vinyl and the counterfeits which emulated them have the wrong catalogue number of "IPC-41" printed on the release which belongs to Mondo Generator. IPC-43 would have been the correct designation.

It is rumoured that this pressing was limited to 1,500 copies.

Now that I have a copy of this version I think I can say, in terms of overall sound quality and presentation, the ranking of releases goes as follows.1. 2003 US 2. 2019 reissue3. 2002 UK/EU The 2018 and this version are very close but the 2003 one just barely edges it out in terms of crispness but if you’re looking to just pick up a copy you’d be fine getting the most recent release

Thundershaper
Same here. I used to have a bootleg of the original 2003 US release on Ipecac which was a shoddy CD rip. I got rid of that one, and will be sure to pick up all 4 reissues.
Irostamore
Accidentially bought a bootleg a couple of years ago when getting into vinyl, becoming a more „mature“ listener I realised it sounded like absolute shite...since it‘s a too wonderful of an album to just listen to passively (at least to me) these details are some of the most exciting news EVER! Lonely Island Record No. 1. I‘m actually excited for all the buzz it will hopefully cause in this forum upon release.#feellikepleasuringmyself
Nargas
I hear no bloody hammer, but who knows. I just hope that new Desert Sessions will have a 10 inch version... somewhere. No idea why they would break that mold?
CONVERSE
I wonder which tracklist they’re going to use, or if they’re going to include the bonus tracks at all
RuTGamer
Damn, this sounds even better than I expected. If you can pull together the cash, it is absolutely worth the buy!
Zodama
Great pressing. It sounds better than the CD, the drums have more room and the guitars are airy. Vocals sound crisp. Overall a pleasant sonic experience.
Gom
Man I wish this were cheaper, or repressed. Queens could make some good money reissuing this???? Looks cool as hell though!
mr.Mine
Bought my copy back in 2007. Paid about 100€. The repress of the first LP was high quality. I really don't know why they don't repress it.
Kefrannan
Superb pressing. Damn! Love the album and this vinyl pressing matches the needs of the sound in it.Noticed the flower etching as I opened it. Realised here it's proof of the real deal.
Innadril
Interesting. I personally think this one sounds a bit better after I compared the two. Plus, I prefer the English version of Gonna Leave You. Different strokes, I guess.
Zetadda
I’m curious about why you think the UK/EU press is superior; the only noticeable difference I’ve really noticed is that the US pressing has much better low end.
Eigonn
Some hints. Before playing the first time you had to clean it several times. My copy was new sealed but had lots of pressing resuide. Also, the laminated cover surface on the side was worn out ! I own the UK release too which is black vinyl and superior in sound IMHO. Nevertheless it's a milestone release. Enjoy.
ACOS
Great album and a great pressing/release. I bought this on day one back in the day and sold it in 2004 to fund a trip overseas for some decent coin but nothing compared to what it goes for now.
Kifer
I know the info on this record was recently updated with new photos and info. My copy differs a little from the Matrix numbers listed above. Here are mine:Matrix / Runout (Side B [etched]): B0000780-01 LP01-B2 RE-1 1 (I have B2, RE-1 1)Matrix / Runout (Side D [etched]): B0000780-01 LP02-B RE-1 X 1 (I only have B, not B2; I also have an X after RE-1)Anyone have a copy with these matrix numbers?
Quttaro
I can confirm I also have this series of matrix codes. By the way, my copy (side D) also shows a dash just before LP02, like this:B0000780-01 - LP02-B RE-I X /Any of you guys   shahgarrett,  katunk) can confirm your versions of Side D matrix DON'T show this dash character?
Nejind
That is indeed very interesting! Does yours have the flower etching on side A, too? You should add yours then as a variant for this submission, I think. Thank you!
Iriar
So is this the only official vinyl release to include the standard version of "Gonna Leave You" vs the Spanish Version? Or is it just not marked as such on discogs?
Clandratha
Yes, this red U.S. release on Ipecac includes the English version of "Gonna Leave You".
Miromice
Wow, I must have listened to this album a lot but since putting the vinyl on I have heard things on songs I haven't on MP3, cdGreat listening experience plus awesome see through vinylIf you can afford it definitely get one
Preve
Wow for the longest time I thought I had a bootleg but I just found the flower in the runout. Also mine does not have a Parental Advisory Sticker, In the pictures it looks like that is a sticker on this pressing, is that correct? Can anyone verify if bootlegs of this have the same runout and etching of the flower?
Exellent
I have a bootleg, red version and it does not have the flower.
Unereel
I don't like colored vinyl cause of the worst sound compared to black vinyl in 95%of all cases. But these pressing sounds stunning! So much precision, so much punchand soundstage! This is really a high price vinyl. But the enjoyment in listening this incrediblemusic is worth every Euro to spend. Fill your room with music!
Jorius
Someone must have a copy to sell for a reasonable price...??
Ubrise
sadly the price just keeps going up up up, even just a few months after the bit of bad press JH got for the boot to the photogs head. in the last 6 months the avg selling price was $300 USD so anything below that (in EX+/NM) should now be considered reasonable...still cheaper than their first LP though
Arakus
Why not buying the european pressing (interscope) ?IMHO the vinyl master is much better than the US version and cheaper.Owning both releases and played them side by side in my recording studio.
Survivors
I got a NM copy on here just recently. Gotta think of it like you're investing money, not spending it. Look at how this record has appreciated in value over the years. It'll only go up!
Bloodfire
Hehe... yes. Like your question. Does anyone here have a Sex Pistols's Acetate pressing for a reasonable price...??
Ceck
You are... hilarious.
Akinohn
I paid 29 EUR for this LP 2007 on german Ebay...

How to spot an original as this is the most frustratingly bootlegged record I've ever seen! The US Version is only on red wax, any other color and it's a boot. I've seen some red wax copies online that have faint streaks of black in them, in a spiral motion, but I wouldn't trust those. This record is beautiful bold red translucent. There's an etching of a flower in the dead wax run-off of side A which is the most important giveaway. Demand to see that before you buy. My copy has a parental advisory sticker on it, can't say for certain if ones with it printed on or not are real but I'd be dubious. I know the giveaway for a boot of 'The Fragile' by NIN is the hype sticker being printed onto the back cover and the legit one has an actual sticker either on the shrinkwrap or attached to the cover. Might be a similar case here. I know Josh isn't a fan of the parental advisory logo as he successfully argued that Rated R didn't need one as the "rating" was a warning in itself.
Gozragore
I bought on on the BAY a few years back, It's definitely legit in terms of the flower etching. I was stoked at the price and couldn't beat it at all.... I played it a couple of time before I realized I had two A/B sides..... LOL!!! It's an awesome thing in terms of uniqness. Just sucks that I can't play the second album! (Both A sides have the flower etching also). Someone is probably walking around with 3 C/D albums! LOL
Charyoll
i have a copy, just looked and found the flower etching, however mine does not have the parental advisory sticker. i think mine might have been on the plastic, not the record itself. i'm new to this site, and stoked to see my very small collection is of high quality, sought after vinyl. so very stoked.
Ballagar
I believe mine is an original and has a parental advisory sticker stuck on the cover. I may have read a while back on the qotsa boards that boots have the sticker printed onto the cover or are possibly absent, could somone with a boot confirm this?
Mitynarit
Matrix / dead wax.. usually tells you, do you have a repro or the real deal.. stickers, covers, inserts can be easily fake.. matrix usually has major or little difference
Prinna
I bought a bootleg in green vinyl a few years back as I couldn't afford an original pressing. Ended up getting an original for Xmas, so now I have both. The bootlegs are just a scan right, so the sticker is printed on the cover, whereas my original is a sticker on the front.
Uickabrod
Is this the only original RED VINYL version?Do ALL the red versions have the Drawing/etching of a flower?
Marilbine
So NONE of the bootlegs have the flower, correct?
Keath
Flowers r the legit ones! I own so much qotsa stuff it's disgusting!! That's a key.
VizoRRR
Ipecac made only one pressing. All red all with flower etching. All other "Ipecac versions" are bootleg pressings.
