With all the great names (MARIO PIU, MAURO PICOTTO, R.A.F., JOY KITIKONTI, DJ ARABESQUE, CAPELLA, 49ERS, etc.) connected to this label (and specifically to this record), high expectations are met.

The Giullare Mix on A1 is straightforward (some might say "typical") Progressive Mediterranean (is this term for the Italian based subgenre of Trance still in vogue or valid 15+ years later?) that is mildly uplifting and euphoric. Good well-composed, well-arranged and well-recorded electronica to fuel your escapism on the dance floor; just not groundbreaking or revolutionary as can be expected for this style of music.

The other mixes (Mas, Joy) are more adventurous, somewhat "dark"er, and dare I say, more experimental. I can take or leave the solemn intoned vocals; they basically are irrelevant except to give the track it's title. The appeal of the 2 mixes on the B-Side are that they are radically different than the A-Side. Mas & Joy present alternative atmosphere based on mechanistic tribal rhythm that border on [Teutonic] industrial approach that Germans have become famous for. Labels like TRESOR, TROPE, ANT-ZEN, PARASOUND, etc. come to mind. M.Chiti Conti's Joy Mix is definitely the more "hard" (hardstyle or hardcore) track on the B-Side, but both mixes leave us wanting more!
